What’s in there? Well, the recipe consists of three simple ingredients. It is so simple and quick to make that you can have this one ready before your toasts are. I have included several recipe options and variations in the recipe box below. You see, making this recipe with only the 3 base ingredients is perfectly fine. It is still super tasty (pick a chocolate protein powder brand that tastes good though!). BUT, pimping this recipe a little bit by adding 1 or 2 simple ingredients will bring it from wow… to AH-Mah-Zing!<\/p>\n

But like I said, it is totally up to you. If you prefer simplicity over taste, the base recipe is excellent. Your choice.<\/p>\n

I’ve also said above that this cake can easily be turned into a molten lava cake. The secret? Simply reduce nuke time. Every brand\/model of microwave is different though. And when I say different, I mean DIFFERENT. If you have a very powerful microwave, above 1000 watts, I’d say 1 minute baking time is usually enough. If you have an older unit with a very low wattage, you might have to increase the baking time up to two minutes or more to have a perfectly baked mug cake.<\/p>\n
