Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 3 tablespoons honey Or maple syrup for vegan version
  • 1/2 cup Whey vanilla protein powder Organic, plant-based
  • 5 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt Optional
  • 2 tbsp warm water

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and process into a fine flour.
  2. Using your hands, shape all of the mixture into balls (size: about 1 inch).

Recipe Notes

* If you are watching your sodium intake you can skip the salt as it is optional.
* For a vegan version, you may use plant-based protein powder. Take note that this type of protein soaks a lot of moisture so you will need to add water until the preparation is wet enough to be shaped into balls.
* Add 1 teaspoon chia seeds for even more nutrients and omega-3.
* Use the scoop provided with your particular product
